• Proceed for the Diamond Circle Tour – Today, we enjoy North Iceland’s most famous Diamond Circle tour. We stop first en route at Goðafoss Waterfall, the waterfall of the pagan gods. Then, we continue to the Lake Mývatn area, where we spend the day exploring the wonders around the lake, one of Iceland’s most interesting regions, with the Námaskarð geothermal boiling mud pool area.
• We visit the amazing boiling mud pools and steam vents of Námaskarð, and then the Krafla area, where a series of volcanic eruptions took place from 1975 to 1984. Later, we visit the beautiful Mývatn Nature Baths for a relaxing geothermal bath (optional) in a stunning natural lagoon (costume and towel to be brought by clients). We take a walk through the fantastic volcanic formations of craters (caldera) called Dimmuborgir Lava Formations and also take a look at the Skútustaðir Pseudocraters.

• Today, we will visit two of the most beautiful places in Iceland – Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. We start our journey towards Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland. Here, we will take a photo stop and walk around the lagoon to enjoy this amazing landscape. From May to November, we can enjoy an Amphibian Boat Ride on the lagoon. Opposite the lagoon is Diamond Beach, where icebergs rest on the shore, making it a beautiful location for photography.
• Visit Skaftafell National Park, a magnificent area. The birch forest here is like an oasis, surrounded by the enormous tongues of the Vatnajökull Glacier and the sands of Skeiðarársandur. Next, we continue towards Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach—one of the only beaches of its kind in the world—where you can admire the Rock Apostles in the ocean and see Basalt Rock Columns and cave formations along the shore. (Note: It is always extremely windy at the beach.)
• Proceed to visit Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck. On November 21, 1973, a Douglas C-117D transport aircraft operated by the United States Navy crashed onto Sólheimasandur Beach in southern Iceland due to severe icing conditions. All seven crew members on board survived the accident, and the aircraft was written off.
